Ljiljana Trajkovic received the Dipl. Ing. degree from University of Pristina, Yugoslavia, the M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of California at Los Angeles. She is currently a professor in the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Her research interests include communication networks and dynamical systems. She served as IEEE Division X Delegate/Director, President of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, and President of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. Dr. Trajkovic serves as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Open Journal of Systems Engineering. She served as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Circuits and System Society and a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. She is a Fellow of the IEEE.

Chun-Yi Su

Chun-Yi Su (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degrees in control engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 1990. In 1998, after a seven-year stint with the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada, he joined the Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, where he is currently a Professor of mechanical, industrial and aerospace engineering. He is the author or co-author of more than 500 publications, which have appeared in journals, as book chapters and in conference proceedings. His research interests include control theory and its applications to various mechanical systems, with a focus on control of systems involving non-smooth nonlinearities. Since 2019, he has been identified as Highly Cited Researchers from Clarivate. Dr. Su was an Associate Editor for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and several other journals. He is also a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE RA Society. He was with many conferences as an Organizing Committee Member, including the General Chairs and Program Chairs.

Huosheng Hu

Huosheng Hu is a professor in School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, University of Essex, UK, leading the Robotics Research Group. His research interests include autonomous mobile robots, human-robot interaction, evolutionary robotics, embedded systems, pervasive computing, data fusion, multi-robot collaboration, and networked robotics. He has published over 450 papers in journals, books and conferences in these areas. He received the MSc degree from the Central South University, China in 1982, and the PhD degree from the University of Oxford, U.K. in 1993. He is Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of automation and Computing, Editor-in-Chief of Robotics Journal, Editor-in-Chief of Digital Communications & Networks, and Executive Editor of International Journal of Mechatronics and Automation. He is Fellow of IET and InstMC and senior member of IEEE.
